Just a random video of running around in that silly lion costume… Holy smokes, I had no idea there were so many people around. I can only see about ten feet in front of me when I hold the head normally, and my hearing is terrible in it. I could tell when to stop, and when it was safe to go and that was about it XD As you can tell, I was wearing out when this vid was taken. I’d had to take the costume on and off multiple times for masquerade prep, and it was laaate at night when this happened. Also, to the steampunk dude (whos name I sadly don’t know)… I could hardly see your costume while in mine, but after seeing it in the masquerade green room, dang, that is a fiiiine get-up. I hope to see you and the rest of your crew next year!

Little Big Planet Costume – Kimba the white lion adult
Little Big Planet Sackboy Costume I designed to look like adult Leo from the Kimba/Jungle Emperor Leo anime series. I’m not crazy about this one, but it was a pain in the ass to design, so it was the best I could do.

Lions Club 2009 Halloween Costume Parade
The annual Halloween Costume Parade sponsored by the Oxford Lions Club was held October 25th, 2009, at the Oxford Fire Station on Fort Hill Park, Oxford, NY. The parade took place inside the Village of Oxford Fire Hall. Halloween music and a medieval castle were provided by fellow Lion, emcee extraordinaire, DJ Jim Baldwin. DJ Jim started off the costume promenade with the eldest to the youngest in six categories. First, the High School, group or family (which featured two groups- The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe, and the Nascar Racing Family); second were the middle schoolers category; third were 4th & 5th grades; fourth were 2nd & 3rd grades; fifth were the K thru 1st grade; and last, but certainly not least was the Pre-K category. Each category was led by an Oxford Lion member carrying a sign. Four Oxford Academy High School National Honor Society students volunteered to judge the costumes and the club awarded prizes for the best ones. Cider and donuts were served.
